St. Louis and Illinois!

We had such a great trip. We had a great time celebrating 4th of July in St. Louis with Tia Brigid and Tio Eddy.  After St. Louis we spent almost 2 weeks with my sister and family in Illinois.  We went camping, spent time in Chicago at Millienium Park, we celebrated birthdays, went to the Dave Matthews Band Caravan festival (without Harper), went to the zoo~ As you can see, we just had a blast with everyone.  To top it off, my brother and two of his kids, Aaron and Bella were able to come in from NJ and my mom flew in from CA! So most of the Garcia family was there! We missed you Auntie Maria and cousin Alina!!!

Here are some pics from our time in the midwest!

First stop was In-N-Out in Dallas!

Harper's first MLB game!  St. Louis Cardinals won!

What's a trip to St. Louis without the Anheuser Busch tour!

Harper and I stayed in and watched the Fourth of July festivities from our hotel.

Acutally, she slept, I watched :)

We could see the arch from our room!

3,762 miles, 21 days, 10 states, 6 cousins, ONE amazing traveling baby!

Well, we just got back from an amazing trip to see family in Illinois (and a few side trips :).  We had the best time!  We were a little nervous to see how Harper would adapt to being in a car so much and sleeping in weird places and at abnormal times.  She did GREAT!  Couldn't have asked for a better baby!  I guess she was born to travel.....hmmm... I wonder where she gets that from??

Harper travelled to 6 new states bringing her grand total to 11 states.  She's catching up to us!

Here are a few pics of our trip.  I plan on making a few more posts that are a little more specific to where we travelled.  Enjoy these pics!

BUBBLES!!!!!!

Grandma and Grandpa brought home a super cool bubble blower from California.  Harper was a little scared at first, but I think she likes them now!
Auntie Brig, I'm scared!

Trying to eat them :)

All is better now!  Her new happy-funny smile

Tio Eddy, You're funny!

Sea World San Antonio!

Harps had her first Sea World experience this past week.  SW gave out free rest-of-the year passes to Texas teachers, so Matt and I had to go!  So happy our friends Nancy and Niki were able to go too!  It was over 100 degrees, so we spent most of our time in the waterpark and only did one show.  It was just too hot to sit around.  Luckily for us, we have our year passes.  So we'll get to go again when the weather is cooler :)

I foresee a lot of kiddie pools in our future

9 months old?!?!? What the?

Our beauty queen turned 9 months old yesterday.  It's hard to wrap my brain around the fact that she has been out of my belly for more time then she was in.  Where's the pause button???  Anyway, here is some info on our growing girl:

*Weight:  17.4 pounds (22nd percentile; she's hefty!)
*Length: 26.75 inches (23rd percentile; I think she's going to be short, like me)
*She LOVES mangoes, watermelon, yogurt, and black beans!
*She sleeps about 11-11 1/2 hours straight! She wasn't always the best sleeper, but she is now! She's sleeping from 8pm-7:30 ish (summer sleep schedule :)
*Still rolls or spins on her tummy to get where she needs to go.  We'll figure out this crawling thing soon!
*Favorite form of communication: blowing raspberries! Needless to say my face is always wet.

Here are some random pics of Harper Marlee Schuppert!

So I'm supposed to sit on this paper, not eat it?? (At the doctor's office)

Mmmm.........black beans

Summer has begun!

So we are officially in summer mode! Yeah!  And Harps is adjusting fine.  We've been sleeping in, playing, napping.  It's been awesome! And now, Matt's officially off for summer vacay! Woo hoo! Let's see what trouble we can get into........

I want to play, not nap.  It's summer!!!!

Don't know how she did that!

We've been watching the baby birds everyday.  The nest is on our porch.

Broke out the inflatable tub. She loves it!

She loves having more daddy time....

and Gumbo time!

PIGTAILS!  Love playing with her hair!
