Beach time!

The day after Christmas the whole family went down to Port A for some fun in the sun! We had a great time taking walks by the beach, having bonfires at night, going on a boat ride to see dolphins, and just hanging with the family in the rented condo.  It was hard to leave after 4 nights, but alas, we had to get back to reality.

CHRISTMAS!!!

We had a wonderful Christmas with our Texas family!  It was so great to see the excitement in Harper as she realized what those pretty boxes and bags were that had lived under the tree all month. And it was great to spend lots of good times with our family.  Maybe one day, we'll be able to be with the Garcia side of the family for Christmas..... San Antonio!

Over Christmas break, Matt and I decided to spend one night in SA with the girl.  We hit up the Riverwalk and Sea World.  Harps LOVED Sea World.  She loved Shamu and the Sesame Street Characters.  It was a nice getaway!

15 months!!

Harps had her appt today. She's weighing in at a hefty 21.2 pounds and 28 inches long.  She's my itty bitty!

She took her shots like a champ crying "All Done, All Done" as she squirmed away from the nurse.  What really sucked was getting her blood drawn.  Since we are raising Harps as a pescatarian (only meat we eat is fish), the doc wanted to check all her levels.  SO needle in the arm it was :(  She cried for a while, then fell asleep in the car.  My baby is all better!!

Her pink bandage :(

YO GABBA GABBA LIVE!!

So we took Harps to see YGG at the Cedar Park Center.  5 adults taking one 14 month old child; this girl is LOVED AND SPOILED!  We all had so much fun watching Harper light up with all the songs and characters.  Oh, and we also had fun singing and dancing along.  Who says Yo Gabba Gabba is just for kids?!?!?

Tis the Season!!

Last year we waited until the week before Christmas to go see Santa.  1 1/2 hours in line with a 3-month old was definitely not ideal.  This year, we beat the crowds and went on December 1st....no waiting.!
