2 MONTHS OLD!!

Our little Harper girl turned 2 months this past Saturday.  Our little girl is growing up so fast *tear*

Here are some Harper highlights:

~weighs a hefty 10 lbs. 2 oz. (28th percentile)
~measures in at 22 1/4 inches (42nd percentile)
~got her shots today. She was a champ!
~has discovered her fists. Not yet her hands.  She bats around at her dangly toys on her activity gym.
~loves music and being sung to.  It's just too adorable!
~is sleeping longer at night (between 5-6 hours straight through).  Before it was 2-3 hours. 
~is the light of our lives.  But ya'll knew that already ;)

My lil' pumpkin!

Harper enjoyed her first Halloween yesterday.  She dressed up as a pumpkin (thank you Auntie Angelica for giving us Sienna's costume!).

 

We went to Aunt Brigid's house where her neighbors decorated and made a spooky haunted house. Harper was a little scared of the ghouls!

Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to see all the cute costumes the neighborhood kids wore.  Can't hardly wait for next year when she can go trick or treating!

At 6 weeks exactly (October 25th), our little girl began to smile (and no, it's not gas!).  Her first smiles went to her favorite toy, her "magic butterfly".  The magic butterfly is a stuffed animal that plays Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  The butterfly always manages to stop her cries, that's why it's magical!  Here are a few pictures of her first week of smiling.

Sweetberry Farm Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we took Harper to the Pumpkin Patch.  She slept the entire time we were there. It was still a lot of fun.  Can't wait until next year when she'll be older and running around the pumpkins!

A Weekend of Firsts

Well, Harper had a busy weekend!  She did many things for the first time.  Harper, Auntie Angelica, Matt, and I went to Babies R Us, the first time for Harper at a store!  Harper also went out to her first restaurant, Texas Roadhouse! She had a hard time deciding on what to get, so she stuck to milk :)

On Sunday, Harper went to church for the first time. She really enjoyed Gateway Church's mothers and infants room! I also had a first on Sunday.....a sleepless night! Oh Harper, please start sleeping at night!

Thank God for Grandparents

My time with my mom is coming to a close :( She has been such a BIG help with Harper these past few weeks.  From middle of the night cuddles, poopy diaper changings, to helping me with household chores;   Grandma Tita, you will be missed!! We love you sooooo much! 

We are so blessed to have Matt's parents, Grandma Loni and Grandpa Chris, so close to us! We hope one day soon Grandma Tita will live here in Texas, too!
