New Orleans bound!

So what's a road trip without New Orleans?? Not a very good one if you ask us! Of course we made a pit stop in the Big Easy (and a couple of side trips!). We had to introduce Harper to NOLA and our good friend Nora!  We had a lot of fun hanging out, even if it was just for a couple of short days!

Side trip #1: The Jim Beam Distillery

Pretty whiskey.  Too bad I don't like it straight :( I'll give you one guess as to who drank my samples!

Side Trip # 2: Nashville, TN

Visited Grand Ole Opry and ate some GOOD biscuits at
the Loveless Cafe.

Driving on the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge (the longest bridge over water at 23 miles long)

Harper was mesmerized by Nora Filos, as most people are when they meet her!

Harper was not impressed by Bourbon Street.  Good girl!



Mommy and Daddy have spent a night or two (or a dozen, who really remembers??)
at the Cat's Meow Karaoke Bar



She loved beignets and chickory coffee at Cafe du Monde!!
