YO GABBA GABBA LIVE!!

So we took Harps to see YGG at the Cedar Park Center.  5 adults taking one 14 month old child; this girl is LOVED AND SPOILED!  We all had so much fun watching Harper light up with all the songs and characters.  Oh, and we also had fun singing and dancing along.  Who says Yo Gabba Gabba is just for kids?!?!?

Tis the Season!!

Last year we waited until the week before Christmas to go see Santa.  1 1/2 hours in line with a 3-month old was definitely not ideal.  This year, we beat the crowds and went on December 1st....no waiting.!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Matt and I had so much to be thankful for this year!!  We have a healthy and very happy little family, our extended family is doing well, we have jobs that we enjoy (YAY for Mattie teaching ART!), I am almost done with school!, we have a roof over our heads, and the Lord as our guide.  Thankful is an understatement :) Overjoyed, thrilled, pleased, grateful,  brimming with appreciation.....you get it!

We enjoyed a fabulous feast with our family here in Texas. Last year we got to spend it with my entire family in Illinois.  Can't wait to see what next year brings!

And her Tia Brigid

Gobble-Gobble!

GASP!!!! Harper ate turkey for the first time!!! (we are raising her as a pescatarian)

Needless to say, she liked it! After each bite she would smile and go "MMMMM!!!!!" and do the sign for more.
We've created a meat-eating monster ;)

Once a year won't hurt her!

Goodbye boys :(

As many of you know, last Saturday we said goodbye to our mini-donkeys Bob and Tobias.  They were great pets that we had the pleasure to own for several years.  It was a hard decision to give them up, but Matt and I have been giving serious thought to moving.  We felt that before we find a new home for us, we had to find the boys a good home to live together.  We did.  They are now living on 16 acres in Georgetown.  They have three other donkeys to play with and many goats to befriend.  The family is great and we will be able to visit the boys whenever we'd like.

Here are some pictures of out times with Bob and Toby:

Beautiful picture my sister took.

Come on in boys!

Off they go!

We love you boys and hope that your new family loves you just as much!

Happy Halloween!!

We celebrated Halloween this year by going to Tia Brigid's and Tio Eddy's house to trick or treat!! Our neighborhood is not ideal for trick or treating :(

We went to Grandma and Grandpapa's house first so they could see our Harper Bug!

Next, it was off to Tia and Tio's house for some ghoulish-good fun!

She didn't know what to think of the bones

Harper quickly got comfortable in the cemetery

The first and only house we went trick or treating at.

Another cemetery

Daddy looks scary!

We ended the evening by 8PM.  It was past Harper's bedtime and we don't want to see what happens if she goes to bed really late (think Gremlins! ;)

Happy Halloween!!

Our Own Pumpkin Patch

No time to go to a pumpkin patch this year.  So we brought it to our home!
