Cinco de Mayo fun in Austin

On Cinco de Mayo we went downtown to celebrate!  Went to Mexic-Arte museum (Free Family Sunday!), went to the block party, and walked around Town Lake! Great times:)

Harper wanted to take pictures next to her favorite masks!

Our New HOME!

A lot has happened since I last blogged!! We have had a busy last few months.  As you all know, we put our house up for sale in June of last year.  We did not have any serious offers, so once the winter holidays were upon us we decided to take the house off the market so we could enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas in peace.  Well, in January we got a call from our former real estate agent that someone who had looked at our house in the fall wanted to buy our house!  That sent us into fast forward- packing our house up, looking for a new house, inspections, inspections, and more inspections!!  We originally wanted to buy in Cedar Park, but we ultimately found a home that met all our wants and needs (no HOA, allows chickens-you know, all the stuff that everyone wants, right??) in North Austin.  We couldn't be happier!

Our New house

Harper LOVES the backyard!
Saying goodbye to our old house.

Running around and playing one last time

Harper's old room.  Kinda sad :(

We loved country living, but we are so ready to be closer to all that is near and dear to our heart.
More pictures to come soon of our funky little Austin home!

Christmas, whew!

Christmas went by in a FLASH! WOW!  We spent it with family and really just waiting for baby Philip to make his grand entrance! We weren't disappointed.  Philip Anthony Mejia arrived in grand style on New Year's Eve.  Great way to end 2012 and begin 2013!

Check out all the fun we had:
